Once again, I get to tell you all how lucky i am. The next phase of training for me in preparation for Mawson was a trip to Albany, WA to do wind turbine training with a company called Enercon. We got to go to 2 wind farms. One was right in Albany and the other was about 4 hours drive east at Bremer Bay. The view from the top is AWESOME and it was so warm and lovely. I did my best to soak up as much of the WA warmth as i could as i knew it would be a long time before i felt this climate again! I even went for a swim in Albany - it was beautiful.
